About Jack

Tradition without theatrics.

My mother raised me on old Celtic stories — stone circles, solstice fires, the kind of tales that sit half-buried in British soil. But she was no flighty witch. She was a gardener who knew which herbs healed and when silence spoke loudest.

That balance stuck with me. Reverence without mysticism. Ritual without performance. The old things taken seriously, and lightly, at the same time.

My craft

Trained in voice. At home in ceremony.

Later, I trained as an actor and built a career around voice — recording audiobooks, narrating radio drama, holding rooms. What I learned, more than anything, is that ceremonies are a huge part of the human experience, and getting them right — making them personal — makes all the difference.

I know how to hold a room. I know how to find the rhythm of a piece of writing and deliver it so it lands. And, quietly, I know how to listen. To what's being said and what isn't.

What I do

Bespoke ceremonies for couples who want theirs to mean something.

I design weddings and handfastings for couples who want depth, humour and humanity at the heart of their day.

I love building ancient traditions into modern ceremonies. Four cords tied in the colours of the elements, a nod to a great-grandmother's home village, a reading from a book the two of you both underlined on holiday.

But if you'd rather skip the Celtic stuff and just say I do by the sea with your dog as witness — that's fine. We can still make it bespoke. Still totally yours.

How it feels to work with me

We start with a quiet call. What matters most? Your grandmother's ring? A shared language? A private joke that says everything about the two of you? I fold it in. I keep things smooth, relaxed, heartfelt.
